About us
About Prince Stonemasons
Prince Stonemasons is a family-run business with over 25 years of industry experience. We offer a friendly, dependable and high-quality service. We are based in Fleet and cover much of the South Coast, including Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey and West Sussex.
A personal, local service
Alan Prince has been a monumental mason for over 25 years and holds NVQs in Memorial Masonry. His wife, Michelle, manages the office, preparing quotes and invoices and keeping everything organised, so you always have a friendly point of contact.
Customers often tell us it is the personal service that matters most. Alan and Michelle take the time to listen, offer ideas and practical advice, and stay in touch from the first conversation to the finished memorial.
As well as memorials, we craft and install commemorative plaques and house signs, and are happy to work on all kinds of projects.

Our core values
Quality craftsmanship
We take great pride in everything we do, using high-quality materials and ensuring every memorial is crafted and installed to the highest possible standards.
Honesty and transparency
We believe in being honest and transparent with every client, from the initial quotation through to project completion.
Reliability
We communicate clearly, keep our clients informed and complete work within agreed timescales.
Attention to detail
We believe the finest memorials come from precision, care and pride in every aspect of our work.
Customer satisfaction
Our clients are at the heart of everything we do. We listen to their needs, respect their wishes and work hard to exceed their expectations.
Fair and transparent pricing
We provide clear, honest quotations so our clients understand exactly what they are paying for, with no unnecessary surprises.
Accredited, registered and fully insured
Our company is accredited by both NAMM (National Association of Memorial Masons) and BRAMM (British Register of Accredited Memorial Masons), and Alan holds NVQs in Memorial Masonry.
We are fully insured and carry out work for many of the surrounding local councils. We are also council registered: many of the councils we deal with keep a dedicated list of trusted masons, and only masons on that list are able to work in some of their cemeteries.
In 2024 to 2025 our work received a BRAMM Silver Award for Memorial Design of the Year.
